Ty Giles makes starts at Penton Raceway and Needmore Speedway
Back behind the wheel, Ty Giles competed at Penton (Ala.) Raceway on Friday evening, but was DQ'd in qualifying which resulted in him focusing more on Saturday's Morgan Sheffield Memorial at Needmore Speedway (Norman Park, Ga.).
Giles qualified third-quickest out of the 15 entries on hand, but once again dealt with mechanical issues that prevented him from starting the 25-lap feature.
